Create innovation initiatives and opportunities

In this phase we help our clients to begin to effectively develop an initial portfolio of opportunities to be explored. While most companies usually have a fairly large set of ideas and opportunities in-house, they don’t often have effective mechanisms to explore these ideas in rapid cycles in order to reduce uncertainty and effectively begin to adapt, kill or convert the idea.

Additionally, companies often confuse “opportunities” with ideas or solutions.  A true opportunity is an important, highly unsatisfied “job to be done” which is contextually dependent.  Defining an opportunity as a job to be done helps companies to consider a multiple of differing solutions, including those which they company itself did not invent.
